After overcoming challenging beginnings and being rescued from separate circumstances, Wanda and Clyde found their way to each other and formed an unbreakable bond.
Wanda and Clyde’s journeys began with adversity, but their stories are a testament to resilience and the hope of a brighter future. Wanda’s tale is truly extraordinary—born blind in one eye and with contracted tendons, her future was uncertain. Unlike many calves in similar circumstances, she was not “discarded.” Instead, the farmer made the compassionate choice to spare her life, choosing to keep her for us, and even gave her a name—a first in our experience. This simple act of kindness marked the beginning of Wanda’s new chapter.
Clyde’s early life was equally challenging. He lost his mother at birth and faced severe difficulties with his legs, leaving him unable to walk properly. His fragile start was met with heartbreak, but also unwavering determination. Thanks to the dedication of our carers and the support of our community, Clyde received round-the-clock attention, multiple physiotherapy sessions each day, splints to support his growth, and plenty of cuddles whenever he needed them.
With love, care, and perseverance, both Wanda and Clyde have made incredible progress. They have overcome immense challenges and are now ready to find a forever home where they’ll be cherished and loved as companions, not commodities.

Wanda is an absolute sweetheart who adores people and lights up at the chance to be walked, petted, or treated to hand-fed snacks. Her sight impairment doesn’t slow her down—in fact, her gentle, endearing way of tilting her head to focus only adds to her charm. Content to embrace a slower pace and soak up all the affection she can get, Wanda is sure to be an incredible companion for anyone lucky enough to have her in their life.
Clyde is every bit as adorable as he is lovable. This friendly soul thrives on human affection and lights up with excitement whenever he’s near you. With Clyde by your side, you will never feel alone. His deep, unmistakable moo is his way of letting you know when he’s craving your attention or asking for a treat. Playful and full of energy, Clyde loves leaping around his foster home, spreading joy wherever he goes. He truly is the happiest of boys, and his infectious spirit is bound to fill his future home with love, laughter, and endless smiles.
Wanda and Clyde are searching for a devoted and compassionate person to provide the care and attention their unique needs deserve. Wanda requires ongoing monitoring of her back left leg, including regular massages, stretching, and possibly physiotherapy or chiropractic treatments in the future. Clyde, too, needs special care for his front right leg, which will benefit from consistent exercise and stretching to support his recovery. Like Wanda, he may also benefit from physiotherapy or chiropractic sessions down the line.
Both will thrive in a flat paddock with plenty of grazing opportunities—Clyde, being a big boy, especially loves his food. As he continues to grow, Clyde is learning good manners and will need patient, positive reinforcement to remain easy to handle. Fortunately, he’s a quick learner and eager to please, ensuring you both have lots of fun along the way. Wanda and Clyde are looking for a family that can offer them patience, love, and a nurturing environment and in return, they promise an endless supply of love and affection.
By welcoming Wanda and Clyde into your home, you are not just gaining a pair of delightful calves but offering Wanda and Clyde a future they could only dream of. Let’s give these little ones the second chance they so desperately need and deserve.
