Amora, Faith, Tim, and Chance- four loyal companions who are ready to bring warmth and friendship to a loving home.
Each year, countless calves are born on dairy farms, often facing futures marked by heartbreak and loss if they are born female. Amora and Faith, like so many other female calves, were born into a system where they are seen primarily for their milk-producing potential. Often, this life entails having their calves taken from them shortly after birth, a devastating separation many mother cows endure repeatedly. Faith and Amora are two of the lucky ones who escaped a future life on a dairy farm and have been raised by a family that loves them as companions.
Chance was rescued from a different fate – he was purchased as ‘livestock’ on a small working farm with a small herd alongside his mother, destined to face an unthinkable future. Thankfully, his life was spared through an extraordinary bond he formed with a human friend, who managed to save him giving him a second chance at life.
Thanks to the compassion of their current owners Amora, Faith, Tim, and Chance were given a future—a chance to be cherished as companions, not commodities.
Unfortunately, after a change in circumstances, their owner has made the difficult decision to find a new loving home.

Meet Amora, Faith, Tim, and Chance, a unique and close-knit family of “cuddle cows” who share a bond as comforting as it is heartwarming.
Amora and Faith are sisters who’ve been inseparable since they were rescued as tiny calves during the pandemic, bringing companionship to their current owner through tough times. Sadly, their mothers were unable to be saved even though the current owner tried to rescue them. A promise was given to these sisters: that they would have a life filled with love and respect.
Both sisters fell pregnant and had calves around the same time, but heartbreak struck when Amora’s baby didn’t survive. Since then, Amora has embraced Tim, Faith’s calf, nurturing him with the protective love of a second mother. Through a strong bond with their owner, Amora and Faith became more than just cows in the paddock, they became family.
Faith is a gentle presence who lovingly tends to Tim, while Amora is the vigilant protector, keeping a close eye on him at all times. Alongside them is Chance, a tender-hearted steer who has been with the sisters since he was weaned.
Chance was raised next door to his current owner with his mother as part of a herd destined for sale- his existence, like many beef cow breeds, was valued as a commodity. Yet, Chance made his intentions clear from the start that he was more than a commodity—his gentle, curious nature led him to quietly seek out companionship from his neighbouring human friend, often appearing by her side as she worked in the paddock. Day after day, Chance would nuzzle her elbow, seeking attention and friendship, until one day she couldn’t resist reaching out to him. Their quiet connection grew into a bond. Determined to save Chance from the sales, she offered the owner of Chance help in exchange for his safety, ensuring he would never face the uncertain future that he was once facing. Rescued and welcomed with open arms, Chance has grown into a calm, affectionate companion who adores being close to his human friends. Chance has also formed an unbreakable friendship with his human family.
This devoted group has lived together harmoniously, forming friendships with horses and other animals on the property. Amora can be a bit assertive at mealtime, eager to get her share. She’s not aggressive, just enthusiastic and occasionally forgets about personal space.
Sadly, due to a change in circumstances, Amora, Faith, Tim, and Chance’s owners have made it difficult to find this mini herd a new home. A home where they can be given the dedicated attention and affection they crave and once had, but can no longer be given at their current home. With a shortage of safe, enclosed spaces and the potential risk of neighbouring bulls impregnating the girls, their current owners want to ensure this family remains together in a peaceful, nurturing environment where the girls won’t be at risk of future breeding.
Now, Amora, Faith, Tim, and Chance are looking for a forever home where they can be adored, cherished, and continue to thrive as companions, not commodities. Their love for humans and gentle hearts promise to bring joy and warmth to any family willing to open their hearts to them.
