Please give a warm welcome to this bonded trio of rescued steers Frankie, Bobby and Nick
Meet Frankie, Bobby, and Nick. Three adorable steers who were lucky enough to escape the horrors of a slaughterhouse and find refuge with a loving family.
Male calves in the dairy industry are often seen as “waste” or “surplus” offering little financial gain to a dairy farmer. Like many before them, they are simply sent off to slaughter, a place so horrific we would never wish you to witness.
Many of our rescued calves and steers have escaped this fate from dairy farms or otherwise.
Frankie, Bobby and Nick are three of the lucky ones.
Rescued just in time they were loved as companions, not commodities.
Their beloved family heartbreaking had to move, unable to take the boys with them. Recently, a new family inherited them along with a herd after buying the property. Unfortunately, the land is simply not large enough to accommodate all of them, so they are now searching for these gentle creatures.
Frankie is a friendly and sociable steer who loves nothing more than receiving affection and pats. Bobby and Nick, on the other hand, are a bit more reserved and prefer their own space, although they enjoy the occasional hand-fed treat.
