Roo

Meet Roo!
Roo, a gentle and affectionate mare, found a loving home two years ago. However, due to the ongoing challenges of drought, she now seeks a new forever home. Despite having experienced a few changes in living situations, Roo eagerly awaits the opportunity to form a bond with her new adopter.
Due to arthritis in her hind legs, Roo is still adapting to the process of hoof trimming as her condition brings sensitivity and discomfort when her legs are lifted. However, with the right approach and a skilled handler, this challenge can be effectively managed, ensuring Roo’s comfort and well-being.
While Roo may be a bit shy at first, she quickly warms up to those she trusts, forming a strong and loving bond with her person, thriving on attention and affection. Roo also gets along well with other horses and is not the dominant type. She’s a team player, making her a great addition to any herd.
Roo is suitable for light riding to exercise and enjoys easy-paced outings a couple of times a week. While she hasn’t undergone formal training, her sweet demeanour makes her a great companion for teenagers and adults with horse-handling experience.
If you have the patience, love, and understanding to provide Roo with a forever home, she’ll reward you with unwavering loyalty and affection.
