Can you welcome Fraser, Georgie & Kosi  into your home?

Taken away from their mothers shortly after birth, Fraser, Georgie and Kosi have endured a traumatic start to life, a beginning no living being deserves. Fraser, Georgie and Kosi were rescued from the harsh realities of a dairy farm. In an industry that often views calves as mere byproducts, many are stripped from their mothers shortly after birth, destined for slaughter or left to perish when deemed unviable.

Male calves born on dairy farms are commonly deemed as “waste” or “surplus”, as they offer little financial gain to the farmer. These calves are often “disposed of” on the farm or sent on a truck to a slaughterhouse.

Similarly, females born on dairy farms are often kept for future milk production – a life of being milked continuously before facing the sad fate of the slaughter truck once their milk production decreases at around 5 years of age. Many female calves, like Georgie, are born as “surplus” and are also deemed as “waste” when dairy farmers don’t need more female cows to raise for future milking.

Fraser, Georgie and Kosi were among the fortunate ones to have been rescued. Sadly, this isn’t the reality for hundreds of thousands of calves born on dairy farms each year. Thanks to the generosity of our community and donors, two more lives have been spared.

Now healthy and feeling cared for, Fraser, Georgie, and Kosi are ready to find their forever home where they will be loved as companions, not commodities.

Meet Fraser, Georgie, and Kosi, a delightful trio of young calves, each with their unique charm. They are on the lookout for a kind-hearted adopter with room in their pasture and heart!

Fraser is a gentle little soul who has come into his own. Once shy, he now beams with confidence, eagerly greeting visitors and seeking the guidance of his friends. His calm demeanour makes him the perfect companion for other quiet calves or as a part of a peaceful herd. Fraser’s friendly disposition is sure to charm anyone who spends time with him.

Georgie brings an infectious energy to the group. This cherished lady is lucky to have escaped becoming a future dairy cow and radiates happiness, confidence, and a dash of mischief. Outgoing by nature, Georgie loves playing and encouraging her paddock mates to join in the fun. Her playful antics and zest for life create a lively atmosphere that keeps everyone entertained.

Then there’s Kosi, the sweet gentle giant of the bunch. This lovable Ayrshire is characterised by his leisurely pace and is always happy to plod along by your side. Kosi takes his time to enjoy the little things – like savouring his milk and showing affection by sucking on your arm. While he may initially seem reserved, once Kosi forms a bond, he’s a friend for life, offering loyalty and gentle companionship.

Georgie and Kosi are a dynamic duo that would flourish together, but Fraser’s adaptable nature allows him to fit right in with them or thrive with another quiet companion. If you’re ready to welcome these endearing cows into your life, they promise to bring joy, friendship, and a little bit of bovine magic to your days.
