After a tragic on-farm accident, Qwill was fighting for her life. With lifesaving treatment, she was able to overcome the odds.
When little Qwill came into this world, she barely had a chance to take her first breath before tragedy struck.
Born on a farm and likely slightly premature, Qwill’s first day should have been spent close to her mother, learning her warmth, listening to her heartbeat, and feeling safe for the very first time.
Instead, she was caught in a tragic on-farm accident that left her with a fractured hip socket.
At less than a day old, she was taken to the vet to be euthanised. But fate had other plans.
Because the vet who saw her knew of Til The Cows Come Home, they called our team and said, “There’s a calf here who deserves a chance. Can you help?”
And because of your kindness, we could say yes. 
Qwill required life-saving treatment and round-the-clock care. Because of our donors, that was all possible.
Today, Qwill goes for her daily strolls with her Foster Carers, something we didn’t know if she would ever be able to do 
Qwill is now thriving and excited to start her life at her forever home, where she will be loved and cared for as a companion, not a commodity.

While Qwill cannot be near other cattle due to a pelvis injury sustained shortly after birth, she thrives around miniature ponies, goats, and sheep, showcasing her love for social interaction and the company of fellow playful animals.
