Rose and Dahlia were born into a world where their future was uncertain. We can’t share their rescue story, but they are lucky to be with us today.
Every year, thousands of farm animals are born into breeding programs for purposes such as milk production, breeding, meat, or fur. Only a small fraction will ever experience the safety and love of a forever home, where they are valued as individuals from the moment they are born.
The reality of breeding is that not every animal is born “perfect.” Some are born with physical or genetic differences that range from minor to severe. On commercial farms, animals that are unlikely to thrive or meet production standards are often quickly discarded. On smaller farms, breeders may face the difficult decision of whether they have the time, resources, and finances to care for an animal with additional needs.
Rose and Dahlia were born into a world where their future was uncertain. We can’t share all the details of their rescue, but thanks to the kindness and generosity of our supporters, they are now safe. They have been given the chance to experience what every animal deserves – a life filled with safety, compassion, and love.
Rose and Dahlia will soon be ready to find their forever home—a place where they will be loved, protected, and appreciated for exactly who they are. Companions, not commodities. ❤️
