It was Father’s Day when a knock on the door brought an unexpected gift—a tiny lamb with big, hopeful eyes. This little one, named Tux for his dapper black and white coat, had lost his mother, and his previous family, unable to provide the around-the-clock care he needed, turned to us for help. They knew our foster carers had the experience to give Tux the love and attention he deserved, and so began his journey in our care.
Tux quickly found his footing, growing from a fragile lamb into a lively, energetic Dorper with legs that seemed to never stop moving. He’s the kind of lamb who brings joy wherever he goes, whether he’s zipping around the yard in a flurry of zoomies or curiously exploring every nook and cranny of his surroundings. Tux has a playful spirit that’s impossible to ignore—he loves bouncing around with the other lambs and alpacas in his foster home, always eager to make new friends and join in on the fun.
But for all his energy, Tux knows how to relax too. After a busy day of play, he’s often found soaking up the sunshine, taking a well-deserved nap after his bottle. He’s a social butterfly, comfortable around children and happy to be in the company of other animals, making him a wonderful addition to any home with a bit of space and a lot of love.
Now, Tux is ready for his next adventure—a forever home where he can continue to thrive, ideally with other sheep who share his playful energy and curiosity. He’s looking for a family that will appreciate his lively nature and provide the companionship he craves.
